About

This is a collection of inspiring artists that have inspired me and I hope can inspire you. This is a place to put all my links and recourses for myself to find later and to help give others access to information they may not be able to find otherwise.

Jean Dubuffet is a big inspiration for me. I was already a huge advocate of drawing what you see. Lots of beauty is missed since it is seen so much. Dubuffet bring the same attitude and passion of there everyday object and scenery.

Henri Matisse was revolutionary when it came to his use of color. The element of color is so widely unused right now in this time of art that I feel it is really important to remember who brought new ideas and style to light.

Robert Rauschenberg was a leading figure in the pop art movement. Combining different elements together to create new ideas, Rauschenberg brought together collage by experimenting.

Willem de Kooning practiced abstract expressionism. I think his art is fascinating and that his work is worth given a look.
